Tomatin
Sat on the Speyside border, Tomatin is one of the largest distillers in the Highlands. The distillery was the first to come under Japanese ownership when it was bought by the Takara Shuzo and Okara companies in 1986. Takara Shuzo nows owns the distillery outright after buying out Okara in 1998.
