Glentauchers
Like many other Speyside distilleries, Glentauchers was established in the 1890s - opening in 1898. Also like many other Speysiders, Glentauchers was initially designed to produce Whisky for blending, which it continued doing until 1985 when it was mothballed.
In 1989 Glentauchers was bought by Allied and is now part of Pernod Ricard under Chivas Brothers. There have been occasional official bottles, but independents have released a wide range of bottlings.
