Inchgower
Alexander Wilson built the Inchgower distillery in 1871 outside the fishing village of Buckie. The distillery has a very pretty courtyard with stone houses and pagoda-topped chimneys. Bottles of Inchgower have the oyster catcher bird as an emblem as these birds are seen on the nearby beaches.
Inchgower use water from springs in the Menduff hills and from the Buckie Burn. Inchgower predominantly produce whisky for Bell’s blends, however they do have a 14 year old single malt and also have released a cask strength edition for the Rare Malts series.
