Bright cherry red with touches of sour cherry on the attack, opening up to raspberry and blackberry. High acidity makes it naturally mouthwatering and sappy with a smoky balance on the finish. This is enjoyable and unfussy, begging for food. Certified organic since 2015. Drinking Window 2021-2030.
Lucente has a deep purple color. The bouquet is powerful, with aromas of ripe fruit, black cherry, and wild strawberry. Pleasant sweet spices and hints of Mediterranean shrublands bring out the complexity of this wine. The palate is round and velvety with a very fine tannin texture and enlivened by fresh notes of eucalyptus. The slightly smoky finish makes it a complex wine, powerful and elegant.
