It presents a clear, bright red colour with ruby or intense garnet red highlights, and sometimes light brown hints. The palate is refined, delicate, and pleasant, with notes of red fruit and spice. Stylistic notes include a good balance between body and freshness, a velvety or silky texture, and supple, round, and elegant tannins. The wine closes with a long, elegant finish.
