Wine Description The 2022 Chateau Lagrange is a blend of approximately 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot, reflecting the estate's Cabernet-dominant identity. In the glass, it displays a deep, garnet-purple colour. The nose is expressive and elegant, offering layered aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, violet, cedar, and subtle graphite. Hints of spice and mocha emerge with aeration, adding complexity. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, structured wine, with ripe yet polished tannins and a vibrant core of dark fruit flavours. Notes of cassis, plum, and dark cherry are complemented by savoury nuances of tobacco and mineral.
