The 'Nectar of the Gods' project is the result of this philosophy, intended to be a true expression of the season unencumbered by the status quo. The 'Nectar of the Gods 2022' is a traditional Bordeaux Blend, featuring Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. It pours a deep ruby colour. The aromatic profile is complex, with notes of ripe plum, bramble berries, cured meat, leather, and cassis. The palate begins with a fresh yet rich attack of bramble berries, chocolate, and plum. A structure of fine-grained tannin builds through the mid-palate, carrying the texture into the balanced finish. Stylistically, the wine exhibits a beautiful balance between freshness and a ripe fruit profile, with great structure. Given the exceptional quality of the vintage, this wine is expected to have outstanding ageing potential.
