The 'Marble Angel' vineyard, situated in Light Pass, is named in honour of Julius Henschke, Stephen’s great-uncle and a celebrated sculptor known for his works crafted from Angaston marble quarried adjacent to the vineyard. Wine Description: This single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep crimson hue with garnet reflections. The bouquet is aromatic, featuring notes of cassis, violets, wild forest berries, and crushed flowering herbs, complemented by hints of graphite, black olive, and cedar. On the palate, it is rich and plush, offering flavours of mulberry, blueberry, and cassis, supported by fine-grained tannins and a mineral backbone.
