Wine Description The wine presents a deep ruby red colour. The aromatic profile includes notes of dark cherry fruit, blackberries, plums, pomegranates, violets, and a hint of leather, with attractive spicy and smoky undertones. On the palate, it delivers a solid core of tart wild berry fruits, with flavours of red berries, cherry, and redcurrants. Stylistically, it is a bold and structured red, impressing with its silken textures, while bright acidity and firm, fine tannins provide balance and depth. The wine finishes long, gently tannic, and relatively fresh. Food Pairing This wine is intended to be consumed in its youth and is a terrific complement to roasted meats, pastas and pizza, the ultimate trattoria wine.
