Peloton De La Muerte Criollo 750ml
$148.00 price per bottle

The Pelotón de la Muerte label is the flag The Doliente Hidalgo, a banner that represented the insurgent army call “the squadron of death”, which sought revenge for the murder of the priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla. The red in the flag represents the blood of the leader, the black cross represents the mourning for the priest Dolores, and the bones honour his remains. Pelotón de la Muerte Criollo is open-air fermented for five days before being double distilled, first in Arabic still and then the second pass in a filipino still with a wood hat, producing an intense mezcal with notes of light smoke.
