Ideally situated at the crossroads of Provence and Languedoc, the Domaine de la Mordoree produces some of the greatest vintages of the Rhone valley: Lirac, Tavel, Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Condrieu. Intense and deep ruby. Aromas of red and black fruits, violet and licorice. The palate is dense, fat and rounded with a long, fruity length Pair with red meats, sauce dishes, venison, and soft cheeses. 96 Points - Jeb Dunnuck A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, and the rest equal parts Syrah and Vaccarese, its deeper ruby/purple hue is followed by a brilliant perfume of blackberries, black raspberries, ground pepper, violets, and new saddle leather.
