Tsar Alexander I Pavlovich.
Emperor of Russia from 1801 to 1825.
Thar Alexander I, was active militarily where he was also involved in the Napoleonic Wars.
During Napoleonic Wars, Tsar Alexander I discovered French Cognac.
Origin: 100% Grande Champagne, 1st Cru of Cognac.
Color: Reddish brown, tints of mahogany.
Aromas: The flowery notes gently give way to aromas of vanilla, dried fruits (nuts, peanuts) mexid with spices and pepper.
You will notice the deep woody flavor that characterizes old maturation in oak barrels. All these aromas together have the characteristic old Cognac aromas.
Lightly spicy and sweet, both strong and delicate. . .
Taste: Strength and delicacy give this Cognac it's fine character.
It's length on the palate is exceptional. From the nobility of it's origins it has kept the strength of the Grandle Champagne and from it's age it has passed on the gentleness of it's aromas.
