The "Les Mandouls" cuvée from Ferraton Père & Fils is a single-varietal Viognier white
wine produced in the Condrieu appellation. The vineyard is located on a soil made up of
a granitic arena and surface alluvial deposits on sloping hillsides laid out in small
terraces fortified by low walls. The wine benefits from aging at 85% in stainless steel
vats and the remaining 15% in demi-muids, giving the wine fruit aromas of great purity. Pale gold in color with silver highlights, the 2015 Condrieu "Les Mandouls" from Ferraton
Père & Fils gives off intense fragrances of exotic fruits (pineapple, lychee) and aromas
of great freshness. The wine demonstrates purity on the palate, showing sublime length on flavors of white peach and exotic fruits.

Clean and crisp, the 2015 Condrieu Les Mandouls (it's named after an almond tree) gives
up notes of tangerine, citrus blossom and crushed rocks, and is clean, tight and nicely
focused on the palate. It needs a year in bottle, but is outstanding.
