The essence of Vertigo, expressed by traditional varieties such as Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and international cultivars such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, represents the beauty of Friuli Venezia Giulia in its diversity.
Vertigo has an almost impenetrable intense violet-red colour. The nose opens with an intriguing scent of plum, fig, persimmon and blackberry, accompanied by spicy sensations of nutmeg and tobacco leaves. It is powerful and elegant on the palate, with fruity aromas of pomegranate and Granny Smith apple that fade towards a more bitter and nutty finish. Perfect with savoury first courses, red meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses.
