Silver Medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits competition 2019 A 10 year old Bourbon from Widow Jane in Brooklyn, New York which is made with a core of Wapsie Valley corn. Every bottle is drawn from a Single Barrel, so alongside its core flavour profile, each one will have unique elements coming through. Cut to 91 proof with natural limestone-filtered "sweet" water from the Widow Jane mine in upstate Rosendale, New York. Non-chill filtered Our Tasting Notes: Nose: Cherry drop sweets, brown toast with clove honey, butterscotch/hot fudge sauce, rum and raisin ice cream, some menthol and caramel & vanilla. Palate: Very black cherry led opening with juicy rum soaked raisins and brown sugar. Aromatic and spicy oak with hints of mint and breakfast pancakes with syrup. Finish: Cherry jam on rye toast, menthol, dark chocolate, sandalwood and clove. A great value single cask 10 year old Bourbon that may be sourced from another distillery but when it tastes this good who cares?
