The 2011 Organic is a stunning example of the wonderful clarity of flavour we see from organically grown barley, especially when distilled slowly in the tall narrow necked stills of Bruichladdich. The delicate floral spirit is matured in classic American oak; a perfect match bringing a wonderful combination of creamy and citrus notes. Nose: Crème brulee, cantaloupe melon, water mint, lemon rind and mellow oak. Palate: Toasted oak, barley flour, honey, vanilla fudge, ripe pear and melon. Finish: Golden syrup, warm sand, sea breeze, nutmeg and coconut.
