Aged for 8 years in 53 charred American new oak barrels, this Bourbon is distilled from a mash bill comprising 80% corn, 10% rye and 10% barley. The new make spirit is filtered through sugar maple charcoal prior to entering barrels for aging, this helps to mellow and smooth the Whiskey, resulting in a rich, creamy smooth taste. Nose: Orange curd and buttery oak, with notes of sweet popcorn and caramel. Palate: Vanilla fudge, milk chocolate and toasty oak, with cinnamon and a crack of black pepper. Finish: Orange chocolate lingers on a creamy finish.
