Producer Vigne & Vini is founded on tradition and technology which are its signs of distinction. Cosimo and Maria Teresa Varvaglione have constructed a team of collaborators dynamic and motivated, giving life to a vineyard inspired by a 3 generation tradition of the Varvaglione family in the wine making sector. An excellent wine is born first in the vineyards and obtains its goal in the best way only if it is looked after in a constant and assiduous way also in the cellar. Vigne & Vini takes care of the quality of its wine with the scrupulous selection of only the best grapes, prudent choices during the harvest, meticulous control of the processes of vinification and a constant search for perfection in cellar techniques. Today Vigne & Vini is in full development pronounced by two production facilities: the old cellar for making and refining the wines and the bottling facility. In the heart of Puglia, aided by favourable climate conditions for vine growing, Vigne & Vini pursues an ambitious project of capturing in a bottle the fascination of a culture dedicating itself to the production of wines that, are distinct from convention, focusing above all on native grapes as a modern expression of an antique tradition. This is demonstrated in the long and prestigious list of awards received during the years. The most fundamental role is that of the winemaker. It is rare but in Vigne & Vini the winemaker and the owner are the same person. In this way who discovers the bottle has also the security of a point of reference that is Cosimo Varvaglione. In the midst of great success in the recent international wine competitions, Vigne & Vini focuses evermore with conviction and persistence on the quality of its products. On this fertile land surrounded by small stone walls, one can enjoy a view that unites the intense green of the vineyards and the silver reflexes of age old olive trees, Vigne & Vini has been able to combine new technology with old tradition, producing an excellent array of wines derived from native grapes of Salento such as Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, Malvasia Bianca, Aglianico and Verdeca. The Company also has a line of organic wines which are produced with grapes from organic farming cultivated in the Apulia region.
