Corton is the only vineyard in Burgundy that makes both red and white Grand Cru wines. This particular vineyard faces southeast and is near the apex of the famous Corton slope. Only 3 growers have access to it; so it is very exclusive. One of my most respected chef clients calls this the best white wine he has ever tasted. Other text Domaine Parent, located in Pommard, in the heart of Cote d’Or, is today run by Anne Parent and her sister Catherine Fages-Parent, representing the 12th generation, and perpetuating a family tradition dating back to the 17th century.
