For ten years, this Single Malt from the Deanston Distillery matured, initially matured in exBourbon casks, and was given the finish in former red wine barrels from Bordeaux, France. A deliciously rich single malt that has been matured for its entire ten year live in Bordeaux Red Wine Casks. Tasting Notes Nose: intense aromas of ripe grapes, one recognizes the wine barrel, to it honey, Toffee and spices Taste: dark chocolate and traces of molasses and toffee, then again the red wine and the honey - above all sweet malt Finish: long and agreeably draining on the finish - sweet and spicy
