Double Gold Medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits competition 2019 The peated version of the Glenglassaugh Octaves Batch 2. This whisky is a combination of Bourbon, Olorosso Sherry and Port casks, resulting in a rather intriguing whisky. That has salted caramel, chilli chocolate and burning driftwood, yellow plum sweetness on the nose. This is combined with apricot, ginger bacon and maple syrup sweetness and savoury smoke through the palate. The finish is nutty, smokey and full of spicy fruits
