A rather tasty bourbon cask matured Bunnahabhain, aged for 14 years and bottled at cask strength. One of only 305 bottles. A soft and sweet nose, that has lots of barley, malt, coffee and hay. There's an underlying fruity sweetness there too as well as a slight coastal tinge. Very promising! The palate opens with a fruity freshness comprising of apricots, white pear, peach and vanilla. The mid-palate brings in more sweetness with a creamy coffee note, barley and citrus. The faint coastal smoke is there at the edge, with a light finish. A whisky with the promise of Spring about it!
