A single cask release from the Creative Whisky Company under "The Exclusive Grains" range that has spent 43 long years maturing in oak. Tasting Notes: Nose: Banana bread, caramel fudge, bread and butter pudding, hot buttered french toast, crunchy nut cornflakes with almond milk, chocolate digestives dipped in ginger latte, vanilla and toffee wafers. Palate: Juicy raisin, butterscotch, clove honey, toasted hazelnuts, chocolate waffles with breakfast syrup, caramelised banana. Finish: Chocolate covered raisins, orange cocktail bitters, clove and cinnamon, praline, toffee sauce and tunnocks wafer bars. A very moreish single grain that is looking great for its age. Distilled 1/6/1974 and bottled at natural cask strength 47. 1% ABV. Only 228 bottles released. Great value old single grain from this Lowland distillery, especially when you consider last years 52 year old Diageo special release sold for over £700 and now pretty much sold out everywhere.
