The 6th batch of the Speyside distillery Strathmill to be bottled by That Boutique y Whisky Company. This is a light, sweet and yellow fruited whisky with warming sice on the finish. A distillery that's largely operated for blending purposes (owned by Diageo, much of the output goes into J&B) independant releases are always interesting. This release is one of 401 bottles and the label reflects the distillery's previous incarnation as a Porridge mill! Supplier tasting notes. Nose - Floral honey, lemon zest, grassy malt and biscuit dough. Palate - Sultana and raisin, followed by banana chips and chicory. Finish - Continued banana notes, now with a hint of red chilli.
