Collection: Herradura

Herradura is one of the most historic tequila brands in the world, established in 1870 at Casa Herradura — a 19th-century hacienda in Amatitán, Jalisco, the birthplace of tequila, where production has continued without interruption for over 150 years. The brand takes its name from a horseshoe found by Aurelio López in the agave fields — fitting, since Herradura has always brought luck to those who poured it. It pioneered the Reposado category in 1974 and invented the Extra Añejo category in 1995, setting standards the industry still follows. Herradura far exceeds those standards: its Silver rests 45 days, Reposado ages 11 months, Añejo ages 25 months, and Selección Suprema ages an extraordinary 49 months — all in American white oak. The only major distillery to use 100% natural fermentation from wild yeasts produced by fruit trees on the estate. Now owned by Brown-Forman, still made at the same hacienda.
