Don Julio

Don Julio Tequila is the world's original luxury tequila, founded in 1942 by 17-year-old Don Julio González in the volcanic highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. From the start, he chose quality over quantity — spacing each agave further apart, harvesting plant by plant, and slow-roasting piñas for up to 72 hours before double distillation. He even redesigned the bottle short and wide so guests could see each other across the table, a quiet declaration that this tequila belonged on it. The full lineup — Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, the iconic 1942, the pioneering Don Julio 70 cristalino, and the rare Ultima Reserva — carries that same standard forward, making Don Julio the benchmark by which all premium tequila is measured.
